hehe.. remember how I told you guys we need to perform every Tuesday in class in front of classmates? Yea this week we did songs about Australia. "I Still Call Australia Home" and 2 other songs.. :P
the first 2 songs were GOOODD! the band played it sentimentally.. so its slow n stuff.. it was beautiful, but then.. the third song OMG. I screwed it up :P It was perfect during practice, but then i got on stage n i blanked out on the third song :P

I sang through the middle of the song, then there's a bit where guitar comes in and play a bit of solo, then i continue n sing.. but i opened my mouth, n i forgot the melody! My head was blanked! I was soo lost..looked at the lyrics n notes n tried to figure out the melody but my brain stopped functioning.. all of my bandmates where playing the same thing over n over again waiting for me to come in hahhaa.. n everyone was staring at me!

My guitarist was standing behind me.. and he poked me frm behind n said "its ur turn!" OF COZ I KNOW ITS MY TURN!! I turned to him n said, " shit, I forgot the melody!! help!" and he sang me the melody but was so out of tune i didnt know wat he was singing :P i was so panic haha. We didnt stop though.. thank goodness the rest of the classmates( audiences) all tried to help out, n they sang with me.. LOL. Hilarious. I finally got the melody n sang the rest of the song.

After that, my pianist told me, "I played my part and I was waiting for you to come in but you were quiet so i looked to u, and all i saw was Ashley (the guitarist) poking at u slow motion and ask u to sing" LOL O_O thats funny hehe. I'll never ever do that again!! So embarrassing.

My formal performance

I sang for my performance last week, Love Song, with my band.
We did pretty well, a lot of people loved it!
Im so glad!!
A lot of ppl came to me telling me how good I sounded and how they enjoyed the song.
1 guy even said I sounded better than the original, uhh.. that's a little too over :P hahaha.
But i'm glad ppl liked it, I was looking at my teacher the whole time when i sang, THANK GOODNESS he was enjoying the song, i hope i get good grades for it!!
I got so excited n everything.. then only i found that i forgot to bring camera to record it down.. =_=
nevermind. i've got another recital coming up this june, i'll definitely record it down!!
i can feel the pressure coming d.. in fact, a lot of pressure coming.. assignments, exams, and recitals!! need to organize my time d.

this song.. i love it. These 2 boys are from the All-American Boys Choir, they're pretty famous, and i remmeber going to their concert when they came to Penang. This song is beautiful.
Reminded me of my mom, i miss her!! :(
