These days, my cousins and I are planning to go for a vacation when i go back to Malaysia for holiday. Since they all are already working, they can afford themselves, and we all came to a decision, Taiwan.
So, the 5 of us will be backpacking and self touring in Taiwan. We found cheap flight ticket, and also a very comfortable hostel to stay. Everyone was soo excited ^__^ but i was worried cuz i had to ask my mom. So i asked my mom, and her responce wasnt good. Which i think is normal, cuz i'm already spending so much money on my studies, and now travelling?!! So i talked to my cousins again.. we had 'conferences' every night :P ahhahaa, and we would report to each other on the famous attractions and cheaper flight tickets and hostels and everything. I told them to go without me, I said since this time everyone's so into it, they should just go.
Hehehe.. i love my cousins.. they said they're not going anywhere without me. :D
But i told them i can't afford myself cuz i can't even find a job here, i've been looking but i couldnt find any. And then my internet's connection was down or something, i couldnt go online for the rest of the night, then one of them SMS me to call her. They changed their plan.
So now, instead of going to Taiwan, we're going to Melaka XD
I feel so bad though.. cuz we've been talking about going overseas and travel together, this is like our DREAM!! To be able to go together. Then i asked her, 'why don't we go Singapore?" Dont know why, for some reason, they wana go Melaka. A'Famosa i think.. dunno..
They say Singapore's not worth it. XD but.. i think it is.. cuz, i wana go shop there!!! Bugis Street!!!
Anyway. So now the plan is.. Melaka.

Friends
Sometimes i feel that i dont have many friends.
No, i mean, i DO hav A LOT of friends on MSN, i hav a list of nearly 400 people!!
These are friends from my ex schools, since i've studied many schools before.
And some are net friends. (Some are nice, but i dont know why i didnt delete the shit ones)
And a few are relatives.
And a few are friends i made on the plane. ^___^
But there are days when my MSN was totaly quiet. No one came to talk, no one replied, especially during the times when i need someone, and no one's there for me.
You must be thinking.. dont I have real friends other than MSN?
Yeah i do. I miss those friends in Malaysia :( We used to hang out every weekend, and even during weekdays, we'd meet up at night for coffee or something.
But friends here.. dont make me feel like i'm wanted.
Maybe it's cuz i dont really talk much with them. I dont know what to say sometimes so i rather keep my mouth shut. They keep saying, "Hey let's hang out someday :D it'll be fun!!"
Umm yeah.. they keep saying this every now and then, since beginning of the year, but we never really hung out. No one asked me. And a couple of times they canceled the 'hang out', so.. yeah.
My closer friends in Aus are both Malaysians, but 1 got boyfriend already, and 'dumped' me. :P
One got husband and she's always busy on weekends. So i'm always alone.
The one who's married is my closest friend now.. but lately, i found that, she only cares about her stuff, and we never really talked abt me when we'r together. Always asked me to go to her house when her husband's busy and cant accompany her. And when her husband's back, I'm put aside. I feel like im a 'replacement'. :S And I'm always listening to her complaining about this and that. Sometimes i just feel sick of listening. Mayb i kept telling people "sorry.. i'm not good with advice.. but i'm a good listener.." And so ppl just kept making me listen to them.
Like the other day.. i called her to ask about the time changes for one of the classes. She didn't pick up the phone, and i sms her, she didnt reply too. So i called someone else, and found out that class is starting soon, so i rushed to attend the class, and i was a bit late, after class, I told her "I tried to call you but you didnt pick up" , and she said "yeahh.. i was in the lab, couldnt answer, sorry" and she didnt even ask why i called. And straight away continue with her stuff, " you know.. just now in the lab..bla bla bla.." and i was like.. =_=
Thinking back.. seems like she's almost always talking about her stuff.. hmm.
Wats my point of writing this post anyway? I complain too much. LOL. I'm pretty sure you guys are sick of my complains too right? I was just testing you all. Cuz seems like no one reads my blog anymore :P haha. write something on my chat box!!

Phew...
I came home after class today.. and no one was at home. So after closing the door i went straight into my room, and because i was soooo tired.. I took a nap. And after a couple of hours, i woke up, n was hungry cuz i havent eaten yet, so I went downstairs , and found that the door was opened!!! I looked around.. it wasnt my landlady, couldn't be my housemate, I was so scared I thought someone broke into the house!!! T__T
But after checking, no one was at home, so i shut the door and went to cook.
Maybe it was me, I didn't shut the door properly.. but man.. it sure was scary.

differences in culture
I'm here sitting in McD writing my blog, just like what i used to do.
I havent been to McD for quite a while now.. and just as i walked into the place, i heard Hokkien :P and i saw 4 old folks speaking in Hokkien, forgot what they talked about but it reminds me of my mom. I've probably said this hundreds of times in this blog but I MISS MY MOM!!!! :(
So i bought my brunch and looked for a place to sit down, and saw the table in front of me, and i started watching them haha.
It was an Asian mother and her little son. The son spoke perfect English, but I couldn't really understand what the Mom was saying the whole time. The way the mother educated the kid was 'westernized' (if there's such word) even tho she's an Asian. She was asking her son to finish up the burger. It took her like 10 minutes, trying to make him eat. He just sat there playing with his toys, and the mother juz sat there staring at him holding the burger in her hands. For almost 10 minutes.. and she kept saying "eat it, try to finish as much as you can" and other stuff which I couldn't understand. She said "finish them up and i'll get you chips" and she was so soft to the kid and the kid just didnt really care.. was playing with toys the whole time. She kept calling his name and he juz ignored her hahaha. But at last he ate it.
LOL it sure is hard feeding a kid here.
On the other table, I saw a pair of Asian mother and son. They're from China, and they spoke perfect Chinese. The son was eating by himself, enjoying the food, but he took out the vegetables in the burger, the mother said "eat it!" (as u know chinese speak loudly and so i put "!") and the son showed his unhappy face, and the mother said it again "put them right back in and eat them!", the son didn't dare to complain but showed his annoyed face, and did what his mom told him to.
Seee~ such difference in Asian and Western culture hahaha.
It reminds me of the books that i like to read, they are novels about Chinese and Western cultures, how the elder generations want better education for their kids and so they immigrate to a western country and now that their kids speak perfect English, there's like a gap in between parents and kids cuz the kids dont understand their own culture and root anymore.
Sorry it's just books that i love to reaad hahahha. These novels are by Amy Tan. Got addicted to her since high school . We had to read a novel called Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan and had to analyze the novel and talk about the novel and how well you understand it. Cuz I was studying in International school that time, a lot of westerners studying there, and they just didnt really get the story like we asians did. ^__^v And i got addicted to her ever since, hehe.

just a brieft update on wat i've been up to.
I had my holiday like almost 2 months ago.. and I went back to Malaysia,
spent almost 6 weeks there catching up with friends and family.
Celebrated my 21st birthday in advance and i had so much fun :D
Now i'm back to Australia and my batteries are fully charged.
